♥ Tradition way of making "kuih bahulu"
Here it comes. Time for making kuih or cookies for Chinese New Year. Helped my grandma in making this malay tradition kuih a.k.a kuih bahulu. Found it quite interesting baking it using the tradition way. But it's really hot to go near the burning charcoal. Lolz, at least i gained the experience. [No pain, No gain.]
Firstly, beat in 15 chicken eggs + 6 duck eggs with right amount of sugars.
Then beat the eggs. See the big big egg beater? I guess u can rarely find it nowhere now. Can be considered antique already.
Beat it until it raise.
A closer look.
Subsequently, add in a little of flour into the mixture.
The big hot pot with burning charcoal inside and also upper side.
It's not fully baked yet.
Finally, it's baked and ready to be taken off.
Ready to be served!
